All students and buses have been dismissed. The tornado warning has expired.

Due the tornado warning being extended dismissal for students and buses delayed until 4:15 am

Valley R-VI Dismissal will be delayed until 3:35 P.M. after the current Tornado Warning Expires. We will not dismiss buses or students until after a tornado warning expires.

The Dome Gym is Now Open for the Public to Shelter During the Current Tornado Warning - Public will shelter with Officer Lewis in our Referee Locker Room using the main Gym Entrance.

Parents/Guardians in the pick up line during a possible late dismissal due to a tornado warning are welcome to shelter in place in the dome gym. All students & staff would shelter in place during a tornado warning in the dome gym or elementary domes.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
We want to keep you informed about our plans in case of severe weather during dismissal. If storms move into our area during our normal dismissal time, we will hold buses and delay student dismissal until the storm has safely passed. We are fortunate to have our dome facilities available as a storm shelter should they be needed for students or staff.
Parents who wish to sign out their students early due to weather concerns may do so, and it will be counted as an excused absence.
Our priority is the safety of all students and staff. We will continue to monitor the weather and provide updates as needed.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
